300 Years of History

The British Library Newspaper Archive has put 300 years of history online with sixty-five million historic newspaper articles.  This is a free resource, covering the most significant events over the last 300 years including the Battle of Waterloo, the Crowning of Queen Victoria and coverage of Jack the Ripper's rampage through Whitechapel.
